These terms apply when you use jsfitcoaching.com or the client portal at portal.jsfitcoaching.com. By using either, you agree to them.
Who we are
Jalen Steel, doing business as JalenSteelFit ("JalenSteelFit," "we," "us") provides one-on-one online fitness coaching.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to apply or become a client, or have a parent or guardian's consent and agreement to these terms if you're 13 to 17. Our sites aren't for children under 13.
Not medical advice
Coaching, programs, nutrition guidance, recipes, and videos are for general fitness purposes. They aren't medical advice and don't replace care from a doctor or registered dietitian. Talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or are pregnant. Stop and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
Your risk
Exercise carries risk of injury. You choose to take part, and you accept that risk. You agree to tell us accurately about your health, injuries, and medications so we can coach you safely.
Results
Results depend on you and vary from person to person. We don't guarantee any specific outcome.
Coaching agreement
Pricing, payment, commitment length, and refunds are set out in your coaching agreement. If anything in these terms conflicts with your coaching agreement, the agreement controls.
Your portal account
- Your account is for you only. Keep your passcode private and tell us right away if you think someone else has it.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
Community rules
Be respectful. No harassment, hate, spam, selling, or sharing other members' information or photos. We may remove posts that break these rules.
Our content
Programs, meal plans, recipes, videos, and everything else we provide belong to JalenSteelFit. They're for your personal use while you're coaching with us. Don't copy, share, sell, or post them elsewhere. Client videos are exclusive to the portal.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store and use it only to provide your coaching and run the portal. We never use your photos, results, or name in marketing without your separate, written permission.
Third-party services
Our sites rely on outside services such as hosting and form processing. We aren't responsible for their availability or their own terms.
Disclaimers
Our sites and services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, JalenSteelFit isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to cover claims and costs that arise from your misuse of our sites or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use our sites after a change means you accept it.
